Seninle kanıt yarıştırmaya girerlerse şöyle söyle: "Ben yüzümü Allah'a teslim ettim. Bana uyanlar da." Kitap verilenlerle ümmilere de sor: "Siz de teslim oldunuz mu?" Eğer teslim olurlarsa doğruya ve güzele kılavuzlanmışlardır. Yüz çeviririlerse sana düşen sadece tebliğ etmektir. Allah, kullarını görmektedir.

Şu halde, eğer seninle tartışırlarsa de ki: Ben tüm varlığımla Allah'a teslim oldum, bana uyanlar da... Daha önce kendilerine vahiy emanet edilmiş olanlara ve vahiyden bihaber olanlara "Siz de tüm varlığınızla teslim oldunuz mu?" diye sor! Eğer teslim olurlarsa, işte o zaman doğru yolu bulmuş olurlar; yok eğer yüz çevirirlerse, sana düşen yalnızca tebliğ etmektir: Zira Allah kulları her haliyle görür.

If they argue with you, then say, "I have simply submitted myself to GOD; I and those who follow me." You shall proclaim to those who received the scripture, as well as those who did not, "Would you submit?" If they submit, then they have been guided, but if they turn away, your sole mission is to deliver this message. GOD is Seer of all people.

If they debate with you, then say: "I have submitted myself to God, as well as those who follow me." And say to those who have received the Book and the Gentiles: "Have you submitted?" If they have submitted then they are guided, and if they turn away, then you are only to deliver, and God is Seer over the servants.

If they have peacefully surrendered then they are guided; but if they turn away, then you are only to deliver. God is watcher over the servants.
