Bir zamanlar Musa, toplumu için su istemişti de biz, "Değneğinle şu taşa vur!" demiştik. Taştan hemen oniki göze fışkırmıştı. Her bölük insan kendilerine özgü su kaynağını bilmişti. "Allah'ın rızkından yiyin, için; yeryüzünde bozgunculuk yaparak şuna buna saldırmayın." demiştik.

Musa kavmini suvarmak istediği zaman da dedik ki: "Değneğini kayaya vur!" Bunun ardından ondan on iki kaynak fışkırmıştı. Bu sayede herkes içeceği yeri bilmişti. Haydi, Allah'ın rızkından yiyin, için; fakat yeryüzünün fesadıyla sonuçlanacak düzenbazlıklara tevessül etmeyin.
