Allah'a ve ahiret gününe iman eden bir topluluğu, Allah ve Rasulüne meydan okuyan kimselerle -isterse bunlar babaları, oğulları, kardeşleri veya soydaşları olsun- candan-yürekten bir ilişki içinde bulamazsın. İşte (Allah'ın kalplerine imanı nakşettiği ve katından manevi bir güç ile desteklediği kimseler onlardır; onları zemininden ırmaklar çağıldayan cennetlere, içinde daimi kalmak üzere yerleştirecektir: Allah onlardan razı olmuş, onlar da Allah'tan razı olmuşlardır. İşte gerçek Allah taraftarları bunlardır. Bakın, Allah taraftarları var ya: işte kurtulacak olanlar kesinlikle onlardır!

You will not find people who believe in GOD and the Last Day befriending those who oppose GOD and His messenger, even if they were their parents, or their children, or their siblings, or their tribe. For these, He decrees faith into their hearts, and supports them with inspiration from Him, and admits them into gardens with flowing streams wherein they abide forever. GOD is pleased with them, and they are pleased with Him. These are the party of GOD. Most assuredly, GOD's party are the winners.

Allah'a ve Sonsuz Yaşam Günü'ne inanan bir toplumun, onların babaları, oğulları, kardeşleri veya en yakınları bile olsalar, Allah'a ve O'nun elçisine düşman olanlarla dostluk ilişkisi kurduğunu göremezsin. Allah, onların yüreklerine inancı yazmış ve Kendi katından bir Ruh ile onları güçlendirmiştir. Onları, altlarından ırmaklar akan cennetlere yerleştirecektir. Allah, onlardan hoşnut olmuştur. Onlar da O'ndan hoşnut olmuşlardır. İşte onlar, Allah'ın yandaşlarıdır. Aslında, Allah'ın yandaşları, kurtuluşa erişenlerdir; öyle değil mi?
