Allah'a, Tek ve Eşsiz olarak inanacağınız zamana dek, aramızda sürecek bir düşmanlık ve nefret olacaktır!" İbrahim de babasına, şunu söylemişti: "Senin için kesinlikle bağışlanma dileyeceğim. Ama Allah'tan sana gelecek bir şeye engel olmak benim elimde değil!" "Efendimiz! Sana güvendik ve Sana yöneldik. Çünkü dönüş, Sana olacaktır!"[508]

İbrahim ve beraberinde olanlarda sizin için güzel bir örnek vardır. Bir gün halklarına şöyle demişlerdi: "Bizim sizinle ve Allah ile aranıza koyup kul olduklarınızla bir ilişiğimiz yoktur. Biz sizi tanımıyoruz. Tek ilah olan Allah'a inanıp güvenene kadar aramızda düşmanlık ve nefret doğmuştur. Rabbimiz! Biz seni vekil edindik ve sana yöneldik. Dönüp varılacak yer, senin huzurundur." Sadece İbrahim'in babasına söylediği şu söz size örnek olmaz: "Allah'tan sana gelecek bir şeyi engellemeye gücüm yetmez ama senin bağışlanman için dua edeceğim".
