Allah şöyle bir örnekleme yaptı: Hiçbir şeye gücü yetmeyen, başkasının eşyası durumunda bir kul/köle ile bizden bir güzel rızıkla rızıklandırdığımız ve ondan gizli açık dağıtan bir kişi. Bunlar aynı olur mu?! Bütün övgüler Allah'adır ama onların çokları bilmiyorlar.

(İşte, örnek olarak) Allah size şu misali verir: Başkasının boyunduruğu altındaki köle sınıfına mensup birini (düşünün; bir de) kendisine tarafımızdan güzel bir rızık verdiğimiz ve ondan açık ve gizli hayırda bulunan (hür) birini... Şimdi bunların (ikisi de) bir tutulabilir mi? Övgülerin en mükemmeline yalnız (iradeyi yaratan) Allah layıktır: fakat onların çoğu (bunun dahi) farkında değiller!
