"Eğer o çalmışsa, daha önce kardeşi de hırsızlık yapmıştı!" dediler. Yusuf, içinde gizledi ve onlara açıklamadı: "Durumunuz çok kötü. Çünkü Allah, söylediklerinizi bilir!"[175]

Dediler ki "Bu çalmışsa daha önce onun bir kardeşi de çalmıştı." Yusuf bunu içine attı. Onlara hiçbir şeyi belli etmedi. İçinden şöyle fısıldadı; "Sizler kötü bir konumdasınız; anlattığınız şeylerin aslını en iyi Allah bilir."

"O çalmışsa, daha önce kardeşi de çalmıştı" dediler. Yusuf onlara belli etmeden: "Siz gerçekten kötüsünüz. ALLAH anlattığınızın içyüzünü bilir" diye söylendi.
